COME PICK AT CRANE ORCHARDS
Farmed since the 1880's and currently on our 6th generation of Crane farmers, our orchard strives to be one of the finest u-pick orchards in Michigan. We offer many different varieties of apples, peaches & sweet cherries for u-pickers to choose from when in season.
Here at Crane Orchards we strive to give you and your family a great experience to create fall memories as you pick apples, get lost in our corn maze, and pick pumpkins (later in the season).
Our goal is to create an environment in which all feel accepted and welcomed on our orchard.
With that being said, a friendly reminder that our orchard and the pie pantry/restaurant are separate businesses. We are all extended family and wish each other the most success, but are separately owned and operated, so please try to address praise or concerns to the appropriate business. (We LOVE hearing that the pie pantry’s pies are out of this world, but they love hearing it even more, as so many hours and so much love is put into them on their end.)

U-PICK PEACHES
We will be open 10am-6pm Thursday, August 13th for Peaches and u-pick summer apples!
We will begin the day picking Coral Star peaches, which are a great peach that come away from the pit easily when picked ripe. Supplies are limited for peach picking, but once we are done picking for the day we will continue to stay open until 6pm with pre-picked pecks of peaches, and u-pick summer apples. We will update this post when peach picking is finished for the day.
We are also opening our summer apples for picking! We have three varieties listed below. We are not yet into Fall Apples.
We are picking:
🍑 Coral Star Peaches (limited supply)
🍎 Dandy Red Apples (on the tart side- great for applesauce or snacking)
🍏 Ginger Gold Apples (mild sweet- great for snacking)
🍎 Premier Honeycrisp Apples (an early variety of Honeycrisp)
Pricing:
🍑 Peaches are $2.30/lb
🍑We have Prepicked Pecks of Allstar peaches available for $32/ peck
🍎 Apples are $1.80/ lb.
We do not have pre-picked apples.
A 3% fee will be added to card payments.
Friendly reminder, we do have samples of peaches for you to try upon check-in, but ask that you weigh and pay for the fruit you’ve picked before enjoying it, as every pound counts for small farms. We appreciate you!

CORN MAZE
The corn maze is closed for the year. It will reopen Labor Day Weekend 2026 with a new design!
Every year our theme changes, and last year in 2025 we decided to focus on highlighting two medical facilities that have impacted our family in a large way.

We accept Cash & Cards (a 3% fee will be added to Credit Cards). We do not accept checks.
Dogs are not allowed in the Orchard, Pumpkin Patch or Corn Maze.

A thoroughly outstanding premium Southwest Michigan vacation rental home located on the beautiful grounds of Crane Orchards and nestled on the shoreline of Hutchins Lake, this beautiful luxury home has undergone a complete and total restoration along with a spectacular interior redesign including all new furnishings. Private and spacious, filled with natural light throughout, it’s also located within easy reach of all the attractions and recreation the Saugatuck & Lake Michigan shoreline area has to offer.
THE PAVILIONS IN WALNUT GROVE
These two pavilions are perfect for weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate gatherings, and other special events. Nestled in the Walnut Grove of Crane Orchards there couldn’t be a more beautiful location. Use your imagination to make it your special day.
Both pavilions feature a cement pad floor and plenty of parking surrounding the area. Each pavilion is 30′ x 40′ – plenty of room to host small to large crowds between May through August.
