COME PICK AT CRANE ORCHARDS
Farmed since the 1880's and currently on our 6th generation of Crane farmers, our orchard strives to be one of the finest u-pick orchards in Michigan. We offer many different varieties of apples, peaches & sweet cherries for u-pickers to choose from when in season.
Here at Crane Orchards we strive to give you and your family a great experience to create fall memories as you pick apples, get lost in our corn maze, and pick pumpkins (later in the season).
Our goal is to create an environment in which all feel accepted and welcomed on our orchard.
With that being said, a friendly reminder that our orchard and the pie pantry/restaurant are separate businesses. We are all extended family and wish each other the most success, but are separately owned and operated, so please try to address praise or concerns to the appropriate business. (We LOVE hearing that the pie pantry’s pies are out of this world, but they love hearing it even more, as so many hours and so much love is put into them on their end.)

U-PICK PEACHES
We will be open Wednesday August 13th 10am-6pm for u-pick Blazing Star peaches. We will also be picking Ginger Gold and Dandee Red apples. Blazing Star is a sweet peach great for eating or baking and is clingfree (when ripe). The Dande Red is a tart apple; great for apple sauce or eating with a little peanut butter or your dip of choice. The Ginger Gold is a mild sweet apple great for snacking on.

🍑We have pre-picked pecks of peaches for $28.
🍎 Apples are $1.65/lb
We accept cash or card. There is a 3% processing fee for all cards. We do not accept checks.
Please note: As we are keeping a very close eye on our current peach trees during this very hot and very dry stretch of summer, they’ve hit “pause” on their fruit cycles so-to-speak. While we wait for temperatures to drop and rain to find us, we may find that we need to close u-pick peaches for a short period to allow the trees to “wake” back up and continue putting energy into their fruits. This may extend our peach season a bit. There are a lot of beautiful peaches that will be coming up! Please keep an eye out for updates as we can’t quite predict when certain peach varieties will be ready now. We appreciate everyone being patient with us as we look forward to continuing our beautiful peach season ahead!
We have wagons if you are planning to pick lots of fruit but don’t want to carry it all or are unable to, but please remember the wagons are for fruit only. If you need a wagon for your children we encourage you to bring one to use from home.
We also encourage bringing reusable bags or boxes to pick in. We have plastic bags available to purchase for your fruit at the orchard too.
Please always remember to call or check our most recent posts for updates the day you plan to visit if the weather is questionable.
***Also please note we are the Orchard on the south side of the road with the white picket fence. Our orchard, the orchard across the street, and the restaurant, are all separate businesses.***

THE PAVILIONS IN WALNUT GROVE
These two pavilions are perfect for weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate gatherings, and other special events. Nestled in the Walnut Grove of Crane Orchards there couldn’t be a more beautiful location. Use your imagination to make it your special day.
Both pavilions feature a cement pad floor and plenty of parking surrounding the area. Each pavilion is 30′ x 40′ – plenty of room to host small to large crowds between May through August.
